  • E.coli is a common type of bacteria that can get into food like meat and veggies.


  • It is a type of eubacteria.


  • You can get E.coli by eating undercooked meat, drinking contaminated water,drinking raw milk, and working with cattle.


  • Some symptoms are; severe abdominal cramps,watery diarrhea,you feel sick and tired,then you get bright bloody stools.


  • It is diagnosed when the docter finds the E.coli in your stool culture.


  • It is treated with antibiotics and drinking lots of water.


  • To keep from getting the E.coli bacteria wash you hands often, don't eat undercooked meat, don't drink raw milk, keep all food refrigerated or frozen.


  • E.coli can be spread by poor hand washing.
